High Performance Flag Football

Readying for the tournament in Winnipeg registration will be coming soon for a U16 Boys and U16 Girls flag football teams.

Tentatively the timelines are:

  • Evaluations in May

  • Selections in late May

  • Practice sessions June / July

  • Tournament (Winnipeg) July 29-31

  • Possible additional competition late July

Head Coach of Team Manitoba's U16 Boys Flag Team (Thunder Bay)

“I’m honoured to represent Football Manitoba at these championships. I am most excited about using my seven-plus years of football coaching and over 20 years of high-performance wrestling experience to help our young people grow, and at the same time perform at the highest level,” said BeauParlant.

“I’m also very excited to showcase to Canada what type of football our community can produce! Let’s get after it!”

“It’s an honour and a privilege to be chosen as head coach of the U16 girls flag team,” he said.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to work with this elite group of athletes. I look forward to the chance to showcase their skills while offering something new for our community. This is an exciting chance to build more female participation in football.”

Assistant Coach for Team Manitoba Boys Flag Team (Thunder Bay)

I am very excited to have been selected as the Assistant Coach for the U16 HP Boys Flag Team. It will be a fantastic opportunity for our athletes to show that they can compete at the provincial level in flag football. I consider myself extremely fortunate that I will have 'front row' seats throughout!! I look forward to working closely with Head Coach Justin Beauparlant as we prepare this team for the big show.
